Payments can be made online with a Mastercard or Visa. Refund requests must be submitted before the first session of any program. A processing fee will be subtracted from any refunds awarded.

2020 BVGL Spring League

Boulder Valley Girls Lacrosse 2020 spring season

 

Registration closes 1/31/20 at midnight. There is a $25 late fee to register after 1/31.

 

Please read the following information carefully before signing up. There are important deadlines you do not want to miss!

 

BVGL's spring season is for girls with no or prior lacrosse experience in 1st-8th grade. All teams will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm, at Platt MS, 6096 Baseline Road, Boulder. The season starts March 9th and ends May 17th. No practice March 23rd-27th due to the BVSD Spring Break. Games are on Saturdays against other Denver Metro area teams, dates and times TBD. Some teams may play on Sunday as well. The game schedule release date is TBD.

The registration fee for the 2020 spring season is $300 (PLUS a required $25 US Lacrosse Membership for all players, good for 1 year). Sibling discounts will automatically be deducted. Uniforms and practice pinnies are additional.

BVGL registration fee includes: Team participation in the end of season playoffs/championships for 2020, league fees, regular season referee costs, field rental and maintenance, team equipment, and coaches salaries. Registration closes 1/31/20. Please note - there is a $25 late fee if you sign up after 1/31/20.

 

Equipment: All players must have a girl's stick, goggles, molded mouth guard (no clear, white, or white graphics), BVGL practice pinnie, BVGL uniform, cleats, water bottle, and be dressed appropriately for the weather. Hats, lacrosse gloves, running tights, and layering is recommended on cold days. In the event of cold weather on game day, black long sleeve compression shirts may be worn under the game jersey if needed. Black tights may be worn under the skirt. Otherwise, black compression shorts should be worn under the skirt.

Refund policy:

Different programs have different refund policies, but the general rule is that if you need a refund, then we will charge 10% of the total payment to cover bank and admin fees if you cancel at least 7 days or more before a session has started. If you cancel less than 7 days before a session starts, we will be able to refund you 50%. There are no refunds or credits awarded for any reason once a session has started. We cannot award any refunds or credits for missed practices due to injury, illness, or any other reason once sessions have begun.

 

For Spring 2020, the teams will be put together by grade and experience level. Some teams may be a mix of grade levels and experience. It may also be necessary to hold tryouts before the season begins to determine teams.

BVGL COACHES REGISTRATION

ALL head and assistant coaches must complete this registration in order to coach for BVGL during the spring season. 

As part of our commitment to player safety, the registration process will include an online background check.   All BVGL coaches will pass screening provided by the National Center for Safety Initiatives (www.ncsisafe.com).

Coaches will also be asked to sign off on our Zero Tolerance for Abuse Policy and the state-mandated Concussion Awareness requirement.
