What is Warrior Girls Youth Lacrosse?
  • Warrior Girls Youth Lacrosse is a nonprofit, volunteer based organization dedicated to growing the great sport of lacrosse throughout Boulder County.
  • We organize girls youth competitive teams for the spring lacrosse season, as well as camps and clinics in the fall, summer, and winter.

Who coaches for Warrior Girls Youth Lacrosse?

  • We have a mix of young women & men and parents who volunteer their time. Almost all of our coaches have high school and college lacrosse playing experience.
  • We require all of our head coaches to attend the CGLA coaches clinic and participate in the US Lacrosse coaches certification program.
My daughter wants to play lacrosse. Where can she play?
  • All girls in grades 1st-8th should register and participate in the Warrior Girls Youth Lacrosse program.
  • Girls in grades 1st-4th will participate in an in-house league. Girls will be divided into teams. Each team will practice once a week and scrimmage against another in-house team once a week.
  • Girls in 4th grade can pick if they want to participate in the in-house league or the competitive travel team.
  • Girls in grades 4th-8th will be assigned to a competitive travel team. These teams compete as part of the CGLA (Colorado Girls Lacrosse Association).
  • We strongly encourage girls without experience to join us-our coaches will teach new players everything they need to know!
What equipment do players need?
  • Girls must have:
    • Girls lacrosse stick (different than a boys stick)
    • Lacrosse goggles
    • Mouthguard (cannot be clear or white)
    • Cleats
How do we know what team daughter is on, and when practices are?
  • Coaches will call each player prior to the first practice (by March 5th) with information about her team and practice schedule.
  • Team rosters and practice schedules will also be posted on the website.
  • You can view these rosters by clicking on the "Team Pages" tab at the top of the website, and then clicking on "Rosters" on its dropdown menu. Rosters can only be viewed by Warrior Girls Youth Lacrosse members, so you will need to log in at the bottom of the page.
